Body Wrap Ingredients

If you have your Body Wraps done in a salon, you won’t have to worry about the body wrap ingredients, but if you want to do your own home body wraps, you’ll have to buy either home kits or the individual ingredients.

Buying the Do-It-Yourself Kits is much easier, because you don’t have to mix the formulas. But it is also more expensive and doesn’t give you the same flexibility to do your own variations.

If you buy the individual body wrap ingredients you can change the formula according to your needs. Maybe you want to add an essential oil with beneficial qualities, or you want to use dead sea salt instead of normal sea salt. It’s up to you.
Either way, you want to use only high quality, natural Body Wrap Ingredients. They are good for your skin and for your body. Even if you’d lose no inches (which is highly improbable), you’d still have the detoxifying and skin cleansing effects.

Unfortunately Home Kits often contain chemical ingredients. This is done to keep product costs down, because synthetic fillers and dyes are much cheaper than natural ingredients.

When buying Kits, you should have a look at the contents and opt for the all natural products, even though they’re probably somewhat more expensive.

On the contrary, when mixing your own Body Wrap formulas, you’ll be sure there are no chemical fillers inside. Be sure only to use high quality, natural products.

Depending on the formula you are using, you will need most of the following ingredients:

Clay or Mud (f.e. Bentonite Clay, Dead Sea Mud)
Kelp (granulated)
Essential Oil (f.e. Grapefruit, Lemon)
Sea Salt
Green Tea (powder, if you buy leaves you have to grind them)
Echinacea (powder, if you buy leaves you have to grind them)
Aloe Vera Gel
