1. Ramblings 1. Ramblings Recently I moved to a new city and to a new apartment building. We do have a small fitness club with a swimming pool here and the first thing I did was to register for the fitness club.
So far I’ve been going on the stepper 20 minutes almost every day. And guess what? Yes, I’m starting to enjoy it. Strangely enough, every day I’m looking forward to come home and go on the stepper, sweat a lot and feel good. It’s just a matter of starting a new habit. You can do so as well! Good luck!
2 Excess candida = excess body weight, and mental depression
The most common place that candida overgrowth appears is in your intestines, but it can easily spread throughout your entire body.
Excess candida causes a whole host of horrible side effects like:
- headaches
But there's are ways that you can help your body to fight off and clean out much of this matter.
First and foremost, you should clean out your digestive system with a thorough vegetable juice cleanse. When cleansing to make your digestive system healthy again, you should follow a juice cleanse for at least 10 days (up to 30 days).
Your lifestyle may make it difficult for you to just consume freshly squeezed vegetable juice all day long - but you can get by simply by adding 2 or 3 fresh vegetable juices to each day, and eating normal for the rest of the day. Explicit guidelines for creating a great juice cleanse can be found on the Living Health - Weight Loss Audio Program. After you've cleansed your body, follow these guidelines:
(1) Avoid added sugars (including fructose, honey, molasses, fruit-juice sweeteners, etc.) and all sugar-sweet foods and snacks, including cakes, cookies, candies, desserts, sodas, fruit-juice and ice-cream, even if they're made with sugar-substitutes like saccharine or aspartame (these substances may cause problems for some people who are allergic or sensitive to them). Stevia extract, which is a natural sweetener, is fine. If you can cut out sugars for 3 days, their 'spell' will be broken and you will be able to resist them quite easily.
(2) Avoid white-starch foods, like white bread, cakes, cookies, white pasta, white rice, potatoes, and all refined flours, etc. Whole-grain flour, in moderation, is acceptable, unless you are a 'carbohydrate addict'; also whole-grain brown or wild rice, whole-grain pasta (usually available in the deli section of supermarkets), etc. (3) Avoid all dairy products, except eggs.
(4) Increase your intake of essential oils, esp. omega-3 oils, which are very lacking in the western world's diet. These include: Fish oils, Flax-seed, borage and evening primrose oils. One tablespoon or three capsules of any of these, twice daily is the norm. Some of these oils can be used as salad-dressing, instead of olive or canola oil, or on whole-grain breads instead of butter.
(5) Add Acidophilus (or Primadophilus), to your diet, after breakfast and after supper daily.
These 5 tips along with a healthy diet like that laid out in The Living Health Audio Program should do the trick in helping you clean out any candida overgrowth. Sometimes you are strong, other times you are weak. Sometimes you make the decisions and take the actions that lead you to your desired outcomes, other times you just can't decide and your actions (or inactions) lead you to failure. That about right? Win some/lose some? Sometimes your motivation is high, other times you stink up the joint? In our research, one of the root differences between the people who routinely get what they want, who feel happy most of the time, who succeed wildly at whatever they do...
They enjoy the tasks and decisions needed to win.
"But what if I hate vegetables? What if I hate prospecting for clients? What if I hate working out and sweating?"
The answer is: You must start liking it.
Sure. Riiiiiight. Like exercise?!? You gotta be kidding. I'm dead serious. The best way to do that is to "notice" what is fun or enjoyable about your tasks and decisions. You have to "find" what is fun or enjoyable about them. And to do that, you have to "look for" them. Quite often you have to search incredibly hard to "find" what's fun or what could be.
Think about it... whenever you quit on some goal you had, no matter what it was, whenever you gave up, didn't put your best effort in, procrastinated, made stupid mistakes... Whenever you did that, there was something about the tasks/decisions that you didn't enjoy. So you called it quits.
Period. End of story. Sure, there were other reasons, too. But this was most certainly one of the primary reasons. You didn't like it in some way.
When you LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing something, you don't quit. You do it every chance you can, you make the right decisions every time, you do superb work, you hardly ever make mistakes.
And you succeed. But when you decide to stay on the couch, at the computer, playing the game, talking on the phone, you do so because exercising doesn't appeal to you. Studying doesn't look so inviting. When you choose the brownie instead of passing up dessert, you couldn't see the benefit. You weren't looking for it. You "forgot" it. So... What is YOUR biggest problem? What causes you the most anxiety? What is your biggest fear? Where do you screw up the most? To change this, here's what you do. First, go to Think Right Now! and order the program that addresses your biggest problem or pull out whatever TRN program you own. Then peruse the statements, find 3-5 statements that oppose your current feelings about doing the tasks that would help to ensure your success. In our I Love Exercising Now! program, one of the statements could be: "The harder I work out, the better I feel" Write them down on 3x5 cards and carry them with you wherever you go. Read them in the morning to yourself or aloud with feeling - with as much emotion as you can muster. See/feel the statement as if it's true now. Then say, "That's right!" or "That's true!" Then move on to the next card.
Feel each one for a few seconds. Then move to the next one. These are the thoughts of the people who easily do what you find difficult. These are the beliefs of winners. The only way you can adopt the thoughts, attitudes and actions of those who are succeeding where you are not is by putting their thoughts into your head... Over and over and over and over and over. You fail at this thing not because you are dumb. You may be a genius. You fail, in part, because something in your past has made you feel about your tasks/decisions in a way that makes you dislike them. You must love them. And you can. Look for the benefits. In the case of exercising... look down. Like what you see? To change it forever and ever, take the next 24 hours and write down every benefit to you and others if you were to become addicted to exercising. If you LOVED it, what good would happen to you and those you come in contact with. Write down how you would feel if you got those benefits. Get ridiculous. Be detailed. Write every possible benefit down that you can dream of and how you will feel when you get them. And keep THIS list with you every waking moment. Do this with every problem/goal you have. Study this list. Memorize it. Test your memory of the > list. Read it three times/day. And guess what? Pretty darn soon, you'll be making better decisions, taking the appropriate actions, doing a better job and getting the results you never dreamed you could. And you'll be positively loving doing things you didn't even like not long ago.
