2. Exercise Without Effort!
We all know that people who do more physical activity, tend to lose more weight and keep weight off. And it is equally well documented that moderate exercise can reduce not only cholesterol levels, it has also been shown to reduce body fat.
So why don’t we all exercise? If you are like me you are not too fond of doing exercise. This can be due to many reasons: you just didn’t find yet the sports you like, you have little time, you’re traveling constantly, the weather is bad, the fitness studio is too far away…
Even though people who do lots of sports and coaches will tell you these are just excuses, for you and me they are real constraints.
Here is an easy way to involve more sports into your life, without even noticing it: Get a pedometer that counts the amount of steps you walk each day. Wear it each and every day. Maybe on the first day you will be shocked of how little you walk. Don’t get frustrated in the beginning, the goal is to start slowly. Lets say you walked 1000 steps on the first day, Try to walk 500 steps more each week. Several recent studies have shown that already with 10,000 steps a day you will have enough movements to feel better, have more energy, increase your metabolism and loose weight.
But how to increase you daily steps? Here are a few tips that will not even cost you any time and very little effort: - Walk while you are on the phone - In the office print on the printer at the other side of the room - Don’t use the nearest restroom, but the one next door (at home go upstairs or downstairs) - Visit someone next office for information instead of calling them - Park your car at the farther end of the parking lot (of course not if you have to carry heavy things f.e. when going shopping) - Stand up and stretch once in a while - Use the stairs instead of the lift - Go for a walk to relax

When you suffer a setback, find a way to be joyful, not because of what has happened, but because it's your most powerful response. Seek to laugh at your troubles, not because they are funny or trivial, but as an effective way of taking positive control.
It's easy to be happy when things are going great. The real power of happiness, however, comes in times of difficulty. A dismal, dejected attitude will only hold you back. A positive, joyful approach can move you quickly ahead.
