1. Ramblings

Maybe you know that I’m living in Munich, Germany. And right now is the time of the biggest drinking festival in the world: the “Oktoberfest”. That’s why I have been rather busy the last two weeks with partying. But now is the time to start thinking about a healthy life again.

You’ve probably heard about the Oktoberfest, but you shouldn’t believe everything that you can see on the news. The drunken people are only a part of it. Normal people like you and me can have a lot of fun, too.

The autumn days bring many hardships for your body, even if you’re not living in Munich and dance day and night in beer tents ;-)

Days get shorter and you’re missing sunlight, your mood might get down. Days are getting colder and rainier and your body has to struggle with flu and other viruses. You’ll read about this topic in the next article.

Take care and relax before entering the hard winter times.

2. How to Avoid the Flu

The coming winter time implies the potential exposure to the 'bugs' that seem to come along at this time of year... particularly the flu' virus.

If you haven't already, you will soon be subjected to some quite aggressive marketing of flu vaccines. They will have a highly convincing sales pitch. What you have to consider is if it really is worth taking.

It's not my place to suggest if you should have one of these or not. This is an issue between you and your health professional. But I will show you some alternative (or in case you take the vaccines, additional) steps that you can take to avoid becoming a flu victim.

Of course as with all measures they are not 'guaranteed' but if you adopt them your chances of coming down with the flu are considerably lessened and in the event that you do succumb to it your recovery will certainly be much quicker and the impact less severe.

The key in avoiding the flu and many other ailments is building a strong immune system Here are the steps that you need to take to achieve a healthy immune system:

1. Get adequate sleep.

2. Eat a nutritious diet.

3. Maintain a reasonable level of exercise.

4. Avoid stress.

5. Dress adequately for cold and wet weather

6. Supplement with nutrients that have a scientifically proven record for building up immune systems.

If you do this you have a very good chance of seeing the winter through free from colds and flu's. Wishing you a flu free winter...

4. Body Wrap Ingredients Uncovered

High quality Body Wrap Ingredients are good for your skin and good for your body, instead of containing dangerous chemicals.

Often so-called "natural products" contain harmful chemicals. Chemical ingredients are commonly used to keep product costs down because they are cheap. Natural ingredients cost much more than cheap synthetic fillers and dyes (Adding essential oils and natural herbs to these harmful chemicals actually destroys any therapeutic properties from the natural ingredients!)

The chemical ingredients listed below have caused adverse or toxic effects as documented by researchers and physicians around the world. By avoiding chemical ingredients, you will have healthier skin and hair and avoid potential health risks due to long term exposure to problem-causing compounds.

Here is an example of the ingredients you will find in body wrap products - compare these ingredients to the list of natural ingredients and be aware the next time you go shopping

Harmful Chemical Ingredients used in Body Wraps are:

Propylene Glycol

Diazolidinyl Urea

Disodium EDTA

Methylparaben

Propylparaben

Stearic Acid

Beneficial Natural Ingredients used in Body Wraps are:

Aloe Vera

Chamomile

Dandelion

Eucalyptus

Lavender

Rosemary

By the way, I’m still looking for good online sources for body wrap ingredients that give my readers a substantial discount. If you know some reliable sources, please email me.

One good way to source body wrap products is Ebay. Unfortunately some sellers do not properly describe their products, but sometimes you can get real bargains.

If you do not have a user yet, it’s super easy to sign up, just click on “Register” on top of the Ebay page.
